DESIGN

If you have a geometrical design or a sketch, we can create a custom composite part for you. Molds and parts are designed in-house by a team of engineers.

 

Using mold and part design lamination design process is taking place. Fabric type, orientation, layer numbers and lay-up squence is determined.

According to design we simulate resin flow on software before starting manufacturing.

MATERIAL CHARACTERIZATION

Material characterization process includes compaction characterization (on dry and wet fabric preforms) and permeability characterization. 

Characterization of composite materials ensures that advanced composite materials meet the application performance requirements for their intended use in industry. The characterization of composite materials is an important part of the product development and manufacturing processes. Physical and chemical characterisation aids developers' understanding of products and materials, ensuring quality control.

Corvus Composites offers expert structural analysis methods. Following your design, we use the best analysis tools to ensure that the part meets the required design prospects.

 

The techniques are steady-state thermal, transient and aerothermal anlysis. They are applicable to fiber reinforced plastics (called GFRP and CFRP), sandwich-structured composites and metal to FRP interfaces.

Depending on material tolerance rates Corvus Composites provides mold design and tooling process. 

 

Molding can be done for applications for either in room temperatures or high temperature curing parts.

Composite mold or metal mold will be selected depending on manufacturing methods.

As reinforcement materials we are able to work with Eglass, S-glass, Silica, Carbon, Aramid.

​As polymeric matrix we can provide polyester, epoxy and phenolic.
